A portrait can be someone’s first impression of you—and it can also be how they most vividly remember you. Anyone can smile for a photograph, but we must go deeper if we are to share something authentically us.

Psychological studies show that the moment we see someone, we make lasting judgments about their character in only a tenth of a second.

My Story
I’ve been obsessed with sharing pictures for all my life. What drives me to photography is a fascination with personal storytelling. I believe stories are fundamentally how we share meaning, and that images can share stories that words may not be able to convey. I love portraiture because it allows us to connect with people and share our stories through our pictures.
